Cray Valley  2 - 0 Tonbridge Angels

A tough test for the Angels away to Cray Valley.  We started off the brighter team and should have been a few goals up within 20 minutes, but as the game went on the home team got more and more into the game and punished us with taking their chances after a few misunderstandings at the back. In spells we were very promising and had some expectional performances from Rhys Brown, Scott Willard and Tom Wood.

The team are looking forward to next week to put things right and come away with all three points.

Tonbridge Angels  2 - 6  Cray Wanderers

Another learning curve learnt by the Angels after going ahead by a goal early on, but yet again a number of mistakes throughout the team cost us our first victory of the season, and a lapse on concentration saw us go in at half time 4-1 down. A very impressive debut from Joe Bond with good steady performances from Scott Willard, Joe Cullip, Tom Wood. A valuable lesson learnt but the Angels played good football in spells once again.

Goal Scorers: Joe Bond and Ashley Barth

Fisher Athletic  2 - 1  Tonbridge Angels

A very impressive performance, we outplayed the opposition for most of the game and wore our hearts on our sleeve. I couldn’t fault our commitment and desire throughout the game.

We are looking better every game even though we are still learning a lot we were unlucky to have come away without a point. Everyone had a good game but exceptional performances from the likes of Scott Willard, Joe Cullip, and Robbie Arthur. Let’s hope we can step it up once again next week.

Goal Scorers: Charlie Ottway

Dartford  6 - 0  Tonbridge Angels

Challenge Cup Round 1

Angels got taught a valuable lesson from a well organised Dartford team   They played well in spells and had some tireless performances from the likes of Marcus Reid, Rhys Brown and Scott Willard. Ashley Barth excelled himself and Joe Cullip keep the score down after making some valuable saves.  At least now there are no distractions from the league, and I am sure we will put it right next week and take all three points and get off to our first win in the league.

All still a big learning curve for us in our first season together and things can only improve.

Tonbridge Angels 1 - 1 Rusthall

A very important game for the angels, bottom of the table clash that proved to be very entertaining.

It was a close game of rivalry and very intense on both sets of players. Even though going in the lead through quality service into the box at set pieces, Rusthall took their chance and equalised by a well taken 25 yard strike.

Valuable point to kick start out season and well deserved throughout. A solid performance from debuton Nathan Faulkes who was impressive and an exceptional performance from Dean Haylett.

Goal Scorers: Harrison Killick
