Tonbridge Angels 0 - 3 Croydon Athletic

Our toughest test yet as a newly formed team.  The team played with their hearts on their sleeves and proved that they can be a force to be reckoned with and mix it with one of the strongest teams in our league.

Couldn’t fault the team one bit, they battled hard but just couldn’t score.  This is the best game the team had played so far.
Ashley Barth ran most of the game and had a blinder and Joe Cullip who kept us in the game.  Very steady performances from the likes of Robbie Arthur, Dean Haylett, Rhys Brown and Scott Willard. Another tough test next week against Bromley at home.

Tonbridge Angels 1 - 3 Bromley

Another tough test against a good footballing outfit. The other team started off the brighter side but after the interval we got on top of the game and won the second half after some clever link up play in the final third which produced a well worked team goal.

But unfortunately it was too little, too late but solid performances again from Robbie Arthur, Joe Cullip, Scott Willard and Dean Haylett with Nathan Faulkes pulling all the strings in the middle of the park.

Tonbridge Angels 3 - 1 Lewisham Youth

A win was on the cards before this game, and with a dull start and a 1-0 deficit at half time it looked a long way off for the Angels. But at the start of the second half Angels come out fighting and an equalising goal by Rhys Brown made the Angels take control of the game, and after a vast amount of possession Marcus Reid put the Angels ahead with his first goal of the season. With Lewisham piling on the pressure in the last minutes the break was on with Rhys Brown running through on goal, the Lewisham Captain made a challenge, but the ball came off him and into the net. A more than deserved win for the Angels with a strong performance from the team.

Goal Scorers:  Rhys Brown and Marcus Reid
