With a win the week before the Angels were fully confident coming into the game and there was no reason not to be, with a great start and an opening goal from Charlie Ottway giving the Angels a deserved lead. Erith stepped up the game and soon equalized. But with Ashley Barth crossing in a free kick, and Harry Killick’s header being blocked off the line the ball fell to Nathan Faulkes to hit home, restoring the lead. The Angels went into half time 2-1 and were dominating the play, but Erith came out fighting and scored two quick goals. The Angels fought back with a few goal scoring opportunities and were very unlucky not to take something from the game. Another good performance from the boys.

With Cray Valley one place above the Angels the 3 points where up for grabs for both teams. With Cray Valley taking a lead in the first half. The game became stretched with Angels looking for an equalizer and Cray pushing on to put the game within doubt. But a huge kick up field from Joe Cullip was well brought down from Charlie Ottway who was through on goal and finished to level the scores. With this goal Angels were in control and Marcus Reid struck with only 5 minutes remaining.
