Tonbridge Angels 0 - 0 Lewisham Youth This was a typical end of season game with the players and the referee looking like they wanted to be on the beach. In the first half Brett Milham skimmed the bar with a header after 5 minutes. Lewisham then had their best chance but Lewis Carey in the Angels goal saved from point blank range. Just before half time Angels had another chance but a Jack Funnell shot was comfortably saved. Into the second half and Funnell just shot wide. As Angels continued to press Jack Leeson hit the crossbar then Funnell went wide with the rebound. On 27 minutes Matt Green raced clear but he also hit the post. Finally with seconds remaining Ed Sharman curled a shot but yet again the woodwork came to Lewisham’s rescue. |
