U11s vs Chipstead - 13/12/09
Score: Tonbridge Angels 11 - Chipstead 5
The Angels booked their passage through to the next round of the Trophy with a comfortable win over fellow division B side, Chipstead. The Angels began the game confidently and intelligently. They quickly fell into their natural pass and move style of football and were soon leading 4-0. To the credit of the away team they never gave up and through determination, hard work and the Angels relaxing a touch too much, managed to level the game before half time.
The second half saw the Angels apply more pressure and create some excellent passages of play. The movement, communication and hard work of the home side was superb, and happily they were able to convert this into goals. The final score line of 11-5 was a fair reflection on the Angels superiority.
